I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this, but I tried running https://taboo.media/CitD/ in Firefox, but the game's Start and Gallery buttons don't work, making the game unplayable. Is there any chance Candle in the Darkness could be made available for download on itch like this game is to mitigate those problems?
Candle in the Darkness production was halted - At least for awhile. It dealt with VERY dark themes (Drug Addiction, sex abuse, etc) And was originally designed to help people see when they were being abused and how to find help when all seemed lost. But after the first chapter, it was deemed to take fully "private" till it was done completely in order to gage responses and such with the audience.
Unfortunately, that isn't going to happen anytime soon.
Hi dev, what are the planned tags? fetishes/kinks are going to be avoidable(they don't happen according to player choice)skippable (they happen but the player doesn't see the scene)forced by plot, or maybe to avoid X content the player should avoid X Li?

Heya - Thanks for the question : At this point they will be unavoidable until it's in it's final release... (Well the 1.0 where first episode is all polished.) I hadn't planned initially to have any of the scenes skippable, but I certainly can add that option in there!
I rather asked, because I avoid games that only skip the scenes but the event occur in the story haha, I prefer rather avoidable (in the sense that this situation does not happen due to choices and not to avoid seeing it).
Regarding the Choice of Bisexual content, does it refer to male mc with another male or does it also include F/F? (because I tried the choice without Bisexual content and it still shows the 2 girls who seem to be in a relationship and the MC thinks it's hot...), and in case of selecting bisexual content, that means it becomes forced or even so the player has the option to reject characters?
Last question, is the mc going to be a loser simp who likes to be a voyeur/cuck or does he have a backbone?

The bisexual content is in regards to the MC... In the FULL (Final) Version 1 and going forward, I'm going to have both male and female (Either "Aiden" Or "Lizzy" will be playable. And yes, you'll have a "choice" (for the most part) of for all the interactions. Keep in mind, with pre-version 1, it's "work in progress" not all situations are available, and most of it is "Introductory story" at this point to set the stage for the future episodes. While the Bi-sexual content is a choice for you, what happens with other NPC's isn't.
And no, the MC is Def NOT a cuck... lol.. And will have a spine... That will be very evident shortly in the releases... ;)
My eagerness to download the game was immediately destroyed when I saw a picture in the introduction showing how Dad gets a blowjob. So this is not my game if such things cannot be avoided. That's where the MC really is a cuck. Especially if that woman is LI. If she's not LI, then showing it is pointless at that point anyway. It doesn't add any value to the game, but it can drive away a lot of players. Hiding just the image from the presentation would cause outrage when the hated thing suddenly pops up on the screen.

As this game is still in development, not everything has been fully setup yet. Since there hasn't been enough revealed in the story line as of yet, it's a bit premature to say what the MC is or isn't. ;)
